I have loved writing my 2017 round up posts! You may have seen my top makeup picks of 2017 last week. Now it’s time for my favourite skincare goodies. I’m a skincare obsessive, I can always find an excuse to try a new cleanser or moisturiser. As someone with sensitive skin though, it’s nearly impossible to find products that really work without aggravating my skin.
Senssē Silicone Cleansing Device
Ever since the Foreo was released I was dying to try a silicone cleansing device but I just couldn’t justify the price, especially for something that might be too harsh for my skin. I was definitely anxious the first time I tried out the Senssē device but I’ve been converted! I couldn’t imagine my skincare routine without this. It’s gentle but through and gives the best cleanse. I love that you can use it with any cleansing product and it’s more than half the price of a Foreo!
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox Hydra Gel Eye Patches
If you read my Cult Products Of The Year you’ll know I’m a huge fan of PTR’s Cucumber Gel Mask. I actually purchased it because I couldn’t seem to get my hands on the eye gel patches anywhere in the UK. Finally during Black Friday I stumbled across them on Beauty Expert’s site and they were in the sale so I had to treat myself! I keep them in the fridge so they’re extra cooling. My undereyes look amazing 15 minutes after applying the patches and they definitely help to keep the bags and dark circles away.
Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser
Pai is a brand created especially for sensitive skin and boy have they done good! I’ve tried a few products from the brand but their Camellia and Rose cleanser is by far my favourite. I use this every morning and night and honestly couldn’t be without it. When I’m in a rush I just splash my face with some warm water, massage the cooling cream into my face for a few minutes, rinse with the handy little muslin cloth that comes along with it and I’m good to go. If I’m taking more time, I like to use my Senssē device mentioned above to really get the product deep into my skin. The best part about this cleanser though, is the fact it’s suitable for eyes too! Honestly I feel no irritation whatever even around my eye area. If you have sensitive skin this is 100% the cleanser you’ve been looking for!
The Body Shop Tea Tree Toner
My trusty tea tree toner is always my go to when I break out. As always when I talk about this toner, I have to warn that it’s pretty potent so you need to be sparing if you have dry or sensitive skin and you definitely need to keep up your moisturising or it’ll really dry you skin out. Used properly though it really helps to clear up any breakouts and I love that it’s a natural way to deal with those pesky spots.
Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask
This was my Cult Product Of The Year and rightfully so! As I’ve said before I use this mask in two ways. Firstly as an all over deep cleansing face mask but I also love to use it as a spot treatment. It takes redness out of spots within ten minutes and makes them much more manageable. I apply some as soon as I wake up in the morning and by the time I’m ready to cleanse the mask has hardened and worked it’s magic. Omorovicza as a brand are definitely one of my favourite discoveries of 2017, I can’t wait to try more from them in 2018.
Urban Veda Soothing Night & Day Creams
My final Skincare favourite of 2017 has got to be my Urban Veda moisturisers! This was a brand I was introduced to thanks to blogging and I’ve been hooked ever since! All Urban Veda products are natural and cruelty free. The skincare brand is based on the principals of Ayurveda so there’s a few different ranges each suited to a different skin type. The soothing range is my all time favourite and the two moisturisers are second to none! They’re super hydrating and leave skin baby soft without leaving a greasy or oily film.
I hope you enjoyed my last round up post of 2017. I’ve already started 2018 by trying out some new skincare goodies that I can’t wait to tell you about!

I haven’t used any of those products myself but I did buy the tea tree toner for my sister for Christmas 2016… She used it for the majority of 2017 and absolutely loved it – had to gift her another bottle for recently gone Christmas too 😀

I really, really want to try one of those cleansing devices! And I also want to try out the Body Shop’s Tea Tree range this year. I had a bit of a rubbish year in regards to skincare. I started a new pill which has made my skin the worst it’s been – probably ever. And nothing worked. But I did get introduced to Liz Earle who’s products are AMAZING. Although they make NO difference to my skin whatsoever, they’re still lovely to use (: Hopefully this is the year I tackle the skin problems! xx

Before I start, I’d just like to say your photography is #goals you make everything look fantastic! I really like the sound of the Senssē Silicone Cleansing Device, like you I couldn’t justify the cost of the more expensive one but having just checked on Amazon, I can see it’s a really reasonable price now. It’s my birthday next month so guess what’s going on my wishlist, haha. Thank you for a really lovely review xx

I’ve never tried the PTR Eye patches, but I may need to try it, because their gel masks are just divine. My ravorite is the Rose Stem Cell mask, but the cucumber one is pretty great as well. I think my absolute favorite find last year was The Ordinary’s Niacinamide serum – it smoothes and firms my skin so well.
