I am so excited to write this post and share such an incredible campaign with you. Cult Beauty are running the ‘Cult Product Of The Year’ campaign from 20th November- 11th December and trust me, you’re going to want to get involved. Share on Instagram your Cult Product using the hashtag #CultProductOfTheYear and everyday until the 11th December one person will win a £100 Cult Beauty voucher so they can stock up on their Cult product or treat themselves to a few new goodies to try! To help give you a few ideas here’s a few of the contenders for my Cult Product Of 2017.
Cult Makeup
I had such a hard time narrowing this down, I’ve fallen in love with so many products this year! All Charlotte Tilbury products are my favourite, I’m yet to find one I’m disappointed by but Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation had to be a serious contender for Cult Product Of The Year, it’s one of the only foundation’s I’ve come across that is truly pale enough to suit my pale skin. Kevyn Aucoin’s Sculpting powder was also very high up my list. It was a product I’d lusted after for years so when I got a Cult Beauty gift card a few months back it was the first thing on my ‘to buy’ list and if you follow PaleGirlRambling you’ll know it hasn’t disappointed! I then thought about Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop, again this was something I’d lusted after for years and was over the moon when I added it to my collection, it’s been a firm favourite ever since. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a pigmented, buttery highlighter!
Cult Beauty Tools
I then thought about beauty tools and of course my Beauty Blender came to mind straight away. I use one every time I do my makeup, nothing applies foundation and concealer as flawlessly. I even have a little stock pile of beauty blenders so I don’t run out! The Zoeva Luxe Petit Crease brush was also a serious contender, it’s one of my essential eye makeup brushes now due to its size. I use it to apply shadow to my lower lash line, it’s super soft so it doesn’t aggravate my already very sensitive eye area.
Cult Skincare
Of course though, I had to mention skincare. I’m a skincare gal through and through, I absolutely adore all skincare but face masks in particular are my ultimate favourite, I have a pretty massive collection. Peter Thomas Roth’s Cucumber Gel Mask is the only face mask that keeps my under eyes hydrated and stops them from looking puffy and tired (teacher problems!) It can also be used to minimise redness, something that us pale skinned folk suffer with a lot! Nuxe’s Reve de Meil is another must have no matter what the time of year. I won this in a giveaway a few months ago and I’ve been obsessed ever since. It keeps my lips baby soft through summer and winter.
My Cult Product of 2017 though, has got to be, the Omorovica Deep Cleansing Mud Mask. I mentioned it a while back in my updated skincare routine and I’ve had lots of messages and questions since asking more about it and if it’s truly worth the £60 price tag. My answer? Yes! This face mask packs a serious punch. I use it in a few different ways. Firstly it can be used as an all over deep cleansing mask. Apply it all over your face, leave it on for around 20 minutes until it’s dried out then wash it off using a little warm water and a face cloth or cotton pad. I feel it really reduces redness as well as completely clearing out clogged pores without stripping the skin. Another of my favourite ways to use this mask is as a spot treatment. I either apply it when I notice a spot coming, which helps to clear the spot quicker or if I’ve already got a blemish, I use this mask to take away all the redness before applying my makeup for the day. You get a massive pot for the £60 and it lasts ages! 100% worth the splurge or adding to your Christmas list!
I hope you enjoyed hearing about my most loved Cult Products Of The Year and that I’ve given you some ideas to help pick yours. Don’t forget to share your Cult Product on Instagram using the hashtag #CultProductOfTheYear and tag me too or let me know in the comments as I’d love to see what you can’t live without!
I really need to get my hands on a beauty blender. I find that I use my foundation brush to spread the foundation on my face but jab it in a lot towards the end of application. If I do that with a brush I may as well do it with a beauty blender?

Oh I may well be adding some of these tools to my Christmas wish list. I would love to give a beauty blender a try.
I wish I could get myself into beauty a little bit more. But my sink is far to sensitive for anything. I only really wear eyeliner and lipstick every now and then and I have to be very careful with just those. This sounds like such a fun thing to get involved with though. I’ll check out the hashtag and see if I can find anything my skin might get along with.
The Beauty Blender looks very useful! Think I will have to give it a try.
Their skin care products sound so lovely! I need to expand on my skin care products and will definitely be adding this to my list!!

I love Charlotte Tilbury but haven’t tried the foundation yet! I desperately want to try everything you’ve mentioned now!- https://sophiehearts.net x
I haven’t really heard much about these, but I haven’t been into beauty things in a long while. However, I do need to try the Nuxe lip treatment! It’s been on my wish list for so long.

I don’t think I have any cult products of the year – to be honest, I don’t experiment enough with different products. But I really like the sound of this foundation. I’m also quite pale and often can’t find a foundation to match my skin!

I definitely want to take part in this, I’m so desperate to win a voucher! The Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder would have to be one of mine too!
Ohhh my, how on earth would I choose! I think this is a great competition to take part in, I would LOVE the £100, but I think it will take me to January to choose my product. Maybe my Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look palette. Im going to get my thinking cap on, thanks for sharing x
My beauty blender is life for me too! I loved this review! I hope you enjoy all these products!
This is a great idea for a competition. I love Becca’s shimmering skin perfector. The highlight just makes my skin glow and is perfect in winter when my skin can look more dull or dry. I love Kevyn Aucoin products as well. I have not tried his sculpting powder yet so that has to be on my list. x
Some of those skincare products look amazing. I absolutely love face masks! Definitely need to start experimenting more x

It’s so hard to choose your favorites – especially as a blogger!! I think one of the standout products of the year for me is yet again another Becca highlight – they’re just so beautiful and I’ve been reaching for Opal for the better part of the year!
