I’m finally ready to accept that Autumn is here and what’s better to start my Autumnal content than a skincare post. The weather is definitely getting colder and my skin is getting even drier! Emmaline fromย Viceroy & Grace got in contact a while ago and asked if I’d like to try out their luxury facial oil. I’ve been using it for a month or so now and I just had to share it. I think facial oils are perfect for autumn as they’re very intensiveย and give your skin that much needed boost of hydration.
I absolutely love the packaging of this facial oil. The little pipette makes applying the oil super easy and means you don’t waste any product! This oil is hand made by Emmaline so you know you’re getting a luxury, quality product. All ingredients are listed so you don’t need to worry about any hidden ingredients that may irritate sensitive skin.
Viceroy & Grace’s “botanical oil is formulated without parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, PEGs, and SLSs. It is not tested on animals, it’s cruelty free and is Vegan friendly.”
You can see a full list of ingredients on the Viceroy & Grace site, my particular favourites areย Calendula, Rosehip and Vitamin E. Calendula is particularly great for sensitive skin, it’s a soothing oil that helps to repair skin and minimises inflammation. If you’re a regular reader of PaleGirlRambling you’ll know my obsession with rose in my skincare routine and Vitamin E is super hydrating.
This oil, as you can see above, is yellow. This isn’t particularly noticeable once you’ve massaged it into your face and neck though. This oil is pretty heavy so I would advise only using this as part of your evening skincare routine. I love to massage some into my face and neck a few evenings a week before I get into bed to catch up on social media. This gives the oil time to sink into my skin before I cuddle up to go to sleep.
I didn’t have any reactions to this oil whatsoever and no breakouts! I really struggle to find an oil that hydrates my skin without creating spots so this is a very pleasant surprise!
This oil is honestly the perfect Autumn skincare treat! You can purchase a 30ml or 10ml bottle direct from the Viceroy & Grace website.
Do you like to use an oil in your skincare routine? Do you have any products that are perfect for autumn?

Oooh, this sounds so good for keeping the dry skin at bay now that the weather is turning cooler! And paraben free means it’s preggo friendly! (I switched all my shampoos because of this!)
Sounds like a great addition to your skincare routine!

I don’t use any oils specifically for cosmetic purposes, but as I have a medical skin condition I only ever use oil formulas (oilatum, eucerin etc) to wash my face and body, so I definitely know how a good oil can help your skin! Despite already using some, I am really intrigued by these. They look really lovely and if they’re free of synthetic fragrances then they sound like they’d be safe for my skin! With the weather getting colder I’ll have to pay more attention to my skin than ever as it seriously dries me out – I’ll have to look into these a bit more!

Ooohhh I was sold when you mentioned rosehip and vitamin E, I loveeee those for the skin. I think a good facial oil is definitely good for this time of year, and especially winter. I used to have very oily skin so tended to steer clear, but now my skin type has changed I’m definitely going to be embracing the facial oils! x
