I thought I’d write a little post about my goals and hopes and dreams for myself and Theodore this coming year. It’s been a whirlwind 2019 full of adjusting to being a mama, a house move, what feels like a hundred illnesses and just a crazy busy life! It’s also been magical watching Theodore grow, learn and take his first steps, he’s become a proper feisty toddler these days and as much as it keeps me on my toes, I love it and his little personality!
I want to get back into the swing of things with my blog this coming year and posting more regularly. Having Theodore turned my life upside down in more ways than one and my blog really took a back seat but I finally feel like I’m beginning to get on top of things and want to get back to my blog as I really have missed it and posting consistently. I want to get lots more beauty content out this year as well as work on more lifestyle and mama content.
I also really want to focus on Instagram and start engaging and falling back in love with the community. I’ve gotten into an awful habit of just scrolling aimlessly rather than interacting with posts so I really want to change that and start spending the time I spend on instagram productively. Let me know any accounts I should be following!
I’d love to make some more time for photography in 2020, I love taking photos but I haven’t had the time to get better this past year and I’ve missed getting out my camera.
I want to get more organised in 2020, I have stocked up on calendars and planners in a bid to make myself have some sort of schedule. I need to find a balance between work, free time and of course Theodore, the worlds most needy toddler bless him! I’m hoping by having some sort of schedule that it’ll give me more time for work and Theodore individually rather than trying to work and entertain Theodore at the same time.
I also want to get better at budgeting and hopefully head off on some little adventures and holiday’s with Theodore this year.
Theodore and I both have a dairy free diet and I want to use 2020 to experiment with new recipes and ingredients to make sure we’re getting everything we need. I’ve been looking online and stumbled across Health Labs who offer an online blood test to check your diet doesn’t have any gaps which is an excellent ideas for those using the new year as an opportunity to change up your diet.
My final goal for 2020 is to mix up my beauty and skincare routine, it may seem like a silly goal to some but I’ve been using so many of the same products for the past year and I’ve really missed experimenting and trying new products.
Do you have any goals for 2020? Anything you’d like to achieve?
