Having sensitive skin can be a real pain when it comes to skincare. A lot of products that state they work for sensitive skin, honestly don’t. I’ve tried out a lot of different brands in a hope of finding a range truly suitable for sensitive skin and one of my all time favourite’s is Ren’s Evercalm range.
REN products are natural and cruelty free so automatically have a big thumbs up from me. Not only that but the quality is second to none. The Evercalm range consists of two different cleansers, a serum, a moisturiser and a face mask.
Gentle Cleansing Milk*
The Evercalm Milky Cleanser is a super gentle, hydrating cleanser. It can be used everyday, twice a day without any worry that it’ll dry your skin out or strip it of its natural oils. It’s by no means an intensive cleanser, I like to remove my makeup first with micellar water or my Jane Iredale Magic Mitt but once I’ve taken the majority off I then like to use the cleansing milk to make sure my skin is truly clean and cleansed. The milk also helps to reduce any redness in my skin and soothes it.
Global Protection Day Cream*
Moisturisers are a tricky one for sensitive skin, I find some make my skin break out if they’re too oily. The Global Protection Day Cream is a thick, very intensive day moisturiser but doesn’t leave your face greasy or oily. It’s one I find myself reaching for more during the winter months when my skin is excessively dehydrated due to the cold, harsh weather. It really protects my skin from the elements. It’s a lovely moisturiser for sunburn also as it soothes the burnt areas and helps to reduce redness.
Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask*
The Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask is my favourite product from the Evercalm range. It’s actually one of my all time favourite face masks ever. If you purchase one item from the range I’d highly recommend the mask. It can be used regularly or as a treat for when your skin is particularly irritated. The Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask is a thick, creamy mask that doesn’t dry down. You apply a thick layer and leave it on for around 20 minutes (though I like to leave it on even longer if my skin is feeling very dry or irritated), rinse off the remanence using some warm water and a cotton pad and be amazed at how incredible your skin feels. This mask is particularly great if you’ve had a reaction to a product or if you get a little sunburn. It instantly soothes and cools your skin and really helps with redness. I reacted badly to a deep clearing face mask and after one application of the Rescue Mask my face looked good as new again! Truly this mask is a game changer and a must try for anyone with sensitive skin.
This range is perfect for those with sensitive skin. You’d be hard pushed to find a full range, all from the one brand anywhere else that really works. Have you tried out the REN Evercalm Range? Do you find skincare difficult when you have sensitive skin?

Looks like a great line. My youngest daughter already seems to have sensitive skin so I’m always looking for good options for her as she grows.

I’m lucky not to have particularly sensitive skin BUT this wasn’t the case when I was pregnant! I wish I’d known about REN back then because my skin was all over the place (thank you hormones). That said, I do like the sound of the Rescue Mask, that would be particularly useful right now as my face is becoming a little sun-stressed. Fab review, thank you so much for sharing xx

These is so helpful! My skin is so sensitive and oily. If I put lotion on my face, it starts to feel so oily so this product I think could be helpful.

I have the cleansing milk and I’ve been using it for a few weeks now (I suffer from rosacea) and as much as I can appreciate the fact that it’s natural and cruelty free, I still haven’t managed to figure out what makes it work better than a cheaper option. I’m wondering if I should combine it with the other evercalm products?
I enjoyed your review 🙂

I find skincare makes my face go red, I can never tell if my skin is sensitive or if it’s just normal.
