I tried to withstand the Glossier hype for as long as I could. It just seemed like everyone was going crazy for something that didn’t seem that exciting. After reading so many rave reviews though, curiosity got the better of me, I finally gave in and jumped on the bandwagon. I only picked up three products to try out but I’m now very tempted to make a second order to try out a few more!
Balm Dot Com
One of Glossier’s most hyped products, as a lip balm obsessive I felt it was only right I try out the Balm Dot Com. I ummed and ahhed about which flavour to go for before settling on rose. If you read my most recent beauty favourites then you’ll know what a huge hit this lip balm has been. It’s non sticky, hydrating and I love the rose scent. The little tube is so handy for popping in your handbag. I’ll definitely be picking up a few more flavours.
Priming Moisturiser
I really want to love the Priming Moisturiser. It sounded exactly like the sort of product made for my dry skin but I just cannot get past the smell! I’m not sure if it’s a pregnancy thing (so please do tell me if you have this and think I’m being dramatic!) but as soon as I open the tube I’m greeted with a horrible smell and continue to smell this whenever I’ve applied the product. I’ve only used this a handful of times because of this so it’s hard to give thoughts on the actual product. It seems to be very similar to my favourite Laura Geller Spackle Primer though so for me I think I’ll just stick to it which is a real shame.
Boy Brow
Brow gel is my favourite thing to use for my brows. I like a natural fluffy brow and I think brow gel is the perfect way to achieve this. I’d previously been using Benefit’s Gimme Brow but wanted to mix it up a little and try something else and I’m so pleased I did! Boy Brow only comes in three shades, blonde, brown and black. I went for brown and I’m really pleased with the colour. The gel lasts throughout the day and doesn’t make your brows harden, something I’ve found a lot of brow gels do. Boy Brow has a huge thumbs up from me, it’s the perfect product if you’re just starting out with brows and don’t want something too in your face.
All in all I’m really happy I gave in to the Glossier hype. 2 out of 3 products are a big hit so you really can’t be unhappy with that! I’m now eyeing up the moon mask, generation g lipsticks and cloud paints so I’m sure it won’t be long before I place another order! Love their packaging and that priming moisturiser looks appealing! Great post x
I’ve always been wanting to try the glossier box! I might have to! 🙂
I still really need to get round to trying their products, they seem so hyped up on social media!
Gutted to hear about the moisturiser! I’ll be giving that a miss

I can only see people loving Glossier. I am not sure I have even read a negative review. It might be another sign I need to try the brand out! xx corinne
After being inundated with Glossier ads, I finally succumbed and bought a few of their products. And I am so glad I did it. I love using their serum before putting on my make-up in the morning. It definitely helps prime my skin for my other products. And the Boy Brow gel is the best eyebrow enhancer I have ever used.
I want to try Balm Dotcom. I can’t get enough lip balm. I’m totally addicted.
I haven’t used anything from Glossier before and I keep meaning to! Their packaging is so aesthetically pleasing. My sister uses Boy Brow all the time and she loves it too! xx
I’ve heard so many amazing things about Glossier but I haven’t tried anything from them yet. I really want to try the Balm Dot Com and priming moisturiser, shame that you found it doesn’t have a very appealing smell though.

I barely know anything about Glossier, but I’m a huge sucker for lip products, and now I really want to try that balm. So many flavors to choose from… !
I have a thing for eyebrows so a brow gel is my must-have product. Sounds like I need to try Glossier’s Boy Brow!

I too, haven’t wanted to try the Glossier brand purely because of the hype. But I feel like I will need to at one point as the reviews do seem quite good. I like that lip balm, maybe that will be my first purchase to test it. Thanks for the suggestions x
