I’m so insanely picky when it comes to perfumes. My mum is too so I think I got it from her! I love light, subtle, floral scents or fresh scents and hate anything too overpowering or clawing. You’ll see from this post that I mainly stick to one brand of fragrance, I’m definitely a creature of habit when it comes to perfumes!
Marc Jacobs Daisy
I first tried Marc Jacob’s Original Daisy EDT when I was a teen and instantly fell in love. It’s light, floral and subtle, everything I love in a scent. Over the years Marc Jacobs have released a number of variations, Daisy Eau So Fresh, Daisy Love and Daisy Love Eau So Sweet are the three I’ve tried and I adore them all. Daisy Eau So Fresh is a particular favourite and the one I reach for the most. It really is fresh just like described and is a signature scent for me. Daisy Love (full review here) and Daisy Love Eau So Sweet are the strongest of the Daisy range and are ones I reach for when I know I’m not going to get a chance to top up my perfume throughout the day.
Clean Reserve Warm Cotton
I was gifted Clean Reserve’s Warm Cotton a few years back and instantly fell in love. It’s definitely a much stronger scent than my trusty Daisy range but it’s so fresh and clean smelling, it makes me feel like I’ve been rolling around in a basket of clean laundry! A summer must have scent in my opinion. It’s not a budget fragrance by any means but the bottle will last you absolutely ages so think of it as an investment scent! I’d really like to try a few other fragrances from Clean Reserve, is there any you’ve tried and would recommend?
Boss The Scent EDP For Her
My final favourite fragrance is from Hugo Boss. Boss The Scent For Her has a warm, seductive, fruity, slightly floral scent. It’s the heaviest scent of the ones I’ve mentioned but still has a place in my line up due to the fruitiness. I reach for this perfume most during the winter when everything seems a bit heavier and more for a date night or special occasion. If you like stronger scents though I’ll sure this would be a lovely everyday fragrance for you.
I also want to add I love the packaging of all the fragrances I’ve mentioned, I just adore seeing them on my dressing table. I’m a sucker for a pretty perfume bottle!

The Clean fragrance sounds AMAZING and right up my street! God I LOVE fragrances! I’m currently wearing Aura by Mugler and I must admit, it’s not been my favourite. I personally prefer quite masculine scents rather than floral 🙂 x

I am super fussy about perfume, not just because of trying to find cruelty free ones but because most of them give me headaches.
I really like some of the Lush Gorilla Perfumes. I find them strong enough to last but not enough to give me a headache.

I love all the Marc Jacobs perfumes, I tend to buy Viktor & Rolf at the moment as it reminds me of my wedding/honeymoon. Will definitely look into the others xx
