If you’ve been a long time reader of PaleGirlRambling you’ll be no stranger to the Jane Iredale Magic Mitt one of my all time fav skincare essentials I’ve been using since I was around 12! I’ve featured it in many a skincare post and honestly if you haven’t tried one yet then you need to! Jane Iredale are a cruelty free, clean beauty brand, they’ve tried to eliminate all the nasties in beauty products that tend to irritate sensitive skin. They kindly gifted me a few other items from their range to try out and now I’ve been testing them for a couple of months I thought it was about time I share my thoughts.
I was most excited to try out Jane Iredale’s Beyond Matte foundation. If you’ve read previous posts you’ll know I really struggle to find foundations pale enough to suit my pale complexion but when I tried the Beyond Matte foundation out on my hand it seemed a pretty good match!
It’s a great full coverage foundation that applies easily and doesn’t cling to my dry patches. The shade is an amazing match for my pale complexion. I will say that after a full days wear the foundation was beginning to separate so I don’t think I’d go for this if I was going to be super busy and unable to touch up throughout the day. It’s a lovely foundation though and didn’t clog my pores.
The team at Jane Iredale also sent a beautiful mirrored compact with their refillable quad of blush, highlight and bronze. I am obsessed with how pretty it is. The powders blend beautifully and I love the option to change the powder refill while keeping your mirrored compact, more eco friendly and more cost effective!
The other beautiful rose gold compact I received contains a selection of beautiful eyeshadows. The clever layout of the eyeshadow palette, a larger sized base shade and then 4 smaller pops of colour and highlight means you’ll not be left in that annoying position of running out of your base shade before finishing the rest of the palette. Just like the bronze quad, the powders are soft, pigmented and blend beautifully.
Finally the last product I’ve been trying out is a skincare treat to remove all the makeup. The Botanical Makeup Remover is a gentle, moisturising and soothing all over makeup remover that can even be used on the sensitive eye area. I’m always wary of products that claims they can be used around the eye area as most tend to irritate me, thankfully this remover lives up to its claims. It’s gentle on the skin but still removes my face full of makeup. A final go over with Jane Iredale’s Magic Mitt and my face is clean and ready for my night time skincare.
I haven’t tried Jane Iredale products before, but I will definitely check them out! They look great and the packaging is gorgeous too x
I’ve only ever tried a lip product from Jane Iredale but it’s one of my fave lip products ever. I definitely need to try more.

I work in a salon and we sell Jane irdale there so I’ve had a lot of experience with it. My favourite product is the Pure Presses Powder and my clients love it because it is mineral makeup and free of any nasty chemicals. I always recommend Jane Iredale to my clients and they always love the makeup x
Love this post. I have very sensitive skin and allergic to most brands but definitely interested in your review of the products and will have to try them out myself. Thank you for sharing x
