I stumbled across The Pip Box a couple of days after they started up their Instagram and I’m so glad I did! The Pip Box are a cruelty free (and mainly vegan) affordable beauty subscription box. They promote cruelty free beauty and donate 50p of each box sold to an animal friendly charity. They named the beauty box after their dog Pippa! (I’m such a sucker for anything to do with dogs! I’m sure those of you who follow me on social media know about my wee rescue pup, Finn!) I ordered my box in their first batch of preorders and have been eagerly waiting since 1st of December to receive it! You can purchase either a one off subscription as a gift, a monthly rolling subscription or a 3 month prepaid subscription. Boxes cost £14.99 (+£3.95 shipping) for a rolling subscription but baring in mind the value of this months box totalled to £35 I think this is a very reasonable price! The box also comes with discount codes for all the products you receive! Now onto the products! This months box has five, full size, cruelty free and vegan products. Three makeup and two skincare.
Akamuti Green Clay Face Mask
This is a loose powder face mask which you add either water or rose water to, it then turns into a creamy paste. It detoxes the skin and has the ability to draw out impurities that may be lurking under the skin. The mask has a lovely subtle clean scent and is great for all skin types including sensitive skin, my skin didn’t react at all and it’s insanely sensitive so I’m impressed! The mask isn’t drying to the skin (though they do advise you use a moisturiser after you’ve washed the mask off). It can also be used as a spot treatment, I’m looking forward to trying this on some blemishes. This mask is vegan friendly, palm oil free and as the clay is sundried it retains all of its natural minerals!
Saturated Colour Lip Vinyl Liquid Lipstick
This lipstick is in the shade Frisky Fuchsia. I can’t give you my full opinion on this liquid lipstick yet as my lips are super dry at the moment and we all know liquid lipsticks and dry chapped lips are not a good combo! But I’m looking forward to trying this, I love the colour, it’s super pigmented and the formula isn’t sticky or drying! I can’t wait to wear this on date night soon. This lipstick is vegan friendly and palm oil free too!
PHB Ethical Beauty Mascara
This mascara is the winner of a Green Parent Beauty Award and I can see why! It lengthens, thickens and volumises and is water resistant (though it comes off super easily with a cotton pad and some Bioderma Micellar water). It’s great for sensitive eyes and as it’s water proof it doesn’t smudge or make you look like a panda, if you’re like me and your eyes water quite a bit throughout the day! It’s also enriched with botanical oils which naturally lengthen and strengthen your eyelashes so I’m really looking forward to seeing the effects over time and how this mascara improves my lashes! This mascara is vegan friendly and doesn’t contain palm oil!
PHB Ethical Beauty Eyeliner
I love this eyeliner! The shade is ‘nearly black’, it’s a very dark grey and I think this really added to my blue eyes! It just wasn’t as harsh as pure black eyeliner. It’s enriched with nourishing plant oils and waxes which make it glide on really gently. It is super pigmented and extremely long lasting, yet comes off easily with my Bioderma Micellar water. Like the mascara, this eyeliner is waterproof so great for watery and sensitive eyes. This eyeliner is also an award winner, it received the Gold Award at the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards!
Bloomtown Botanicals Nourising Mini Soap
The last item, but certainly not least is this adorable soap from Bloomtown. I love this brand! They’re an ethical, cruelty free, palm oil free, plant based skincare brand based in Cornwall. This little soap is handmade with a mix of plant oils and butters, it’s gentle enough to wash away makeup, dirt and oil without irritating the skin. I got ‘The Grove’ which is blood orange and pink grapefruit scented, it’s not overpowering and smells very fresh! After use my skin felt very soft and moisturised! I will definitely be purchasing more of these soaps in the future and maybe trying a few different scents!
I hope you enjoyed this unboxing of The Pip Box, I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of these products before? Leave comments and let me know if you like the idea of The Pip Box as much as I do!

Ahh I’ve been waiting for someone to post an inboxing! Some great products in there and it’s great that they support a cause too.
This sounds like such an interesting box! I haven’t ever signed up for a subscription box but I love how a small portion of the funds raised from this one helps out animals!
It’s a great box! And an excellent way to support animal charities!
