I was so impressed with the Botanical themed May Look Fantastic Beauty Box when it dropped through my door the other day. All the products in this months box are free from toxins and nasties so all products are suitable for those with even the most sensitive skin. It sounds like a box made for me! The box is also worth a massive £127! Obviously I haven’t had time to properly try the products out yet but I wanted to get an unboxing up quickly with my first impressions so you have time to go and purchase yourself if you’re interested. If there’s any products you’d like an in-depth review on just let me know in the comments. You can also check out my unboxing of January’s box if you’d like an idea of what else comes inside the boxes.
I was most excited to see a Magnitone Microfibre Cleansing Cloth inside this months box. I love using a cleansing cloth to take off the majority of my makeup so am always up for trying a new one. The Magnitone cloth is so insanely soft, it’s incredible! It also has a handy hook so you can hang it up to dry after use. I can’t wait to give this a proper go but first impressions are great! It’s also machine washable.
I love face masks so getting mini ones in beauty boxes is the perfect way to try some new ones out. May’s box contains a Korres Hydra-Biome Face Mask which is said to reduce redness and rehydrate skin. I suffer badly with redness due to my pale complexion so I’m really excited to see if this lives up to its claims.
Next up is the Dr Lipp Sweet Potato Lip Tint. I love sweet potato so this was a winner for me already. Dr Lipp balms are lanolin based so ultra moisturising, this is going straight in my handbag.
The Avant Hyaluronic Acid Resurfacing Duo Moisturiser (which is worth £100!) is packed full of Hyaluronic Acid, Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil which tightens and firms the skin and restores moisture for a brighter, more even complexion. It also contains antioxidant vitamins A, B, D and E which help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a visibly younger-looking appearance. I’ve been loving hyaluronic acid recently so I’m excited to try this.
Face mists are another of my favourite skincare products. Balance Me’s Hyaluronic Plumping Face Mist is a fine mist that absorbs quickly into the skin giving your face an instant hydration boost. It’s also perfectly sized for your handbag and using out and about.
The final product in May’s box is a brow gel from Eyeko. I’ve been using Eyeko products for years and am already a fan of this brow gel so I’m pleased to have an extra one in my makeup bag.
I’m really pleased with Look Fantastic May beauty Box, a great selection of products and well worth the £15 per month price tag.
