A ‘no makeup’ makeup look is one of my favourites to go for during the summertime. I like to use products that are lightweight and enhance my natural complexion without clogging up my pores or drying out my skin in the warm weather. Here’s a few of my favourite products, that can all be picked up at Cult Beauty, for a natural, everyday, ‘no makeup’ makeup look.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush – Ethereal Glow*
Cult Beauty’s brand of the month in August is Hourglass, which means free shipping on all Hourglass products! It’s a brand I’d been eyeing up for years but never investigated. Their blushes have been top of my beauty wishlist for as long as I can remember. Honestly have you seen a prettier looking blush?! The Ambient Lighting Blush in Ethereal Glow is a beautiful subtle baby pink with a light reflecting nude powder marbled through. It’s extremely finely milled and one of the softest powders I’ve ever tried. It gives a subtle pink tinted glow to the apples of my cheeks and lasts all day. I’m completely hooked and can’t wait to try more from the brand!
NYX Total Control Drop Foundation in 01 Pale*
If you’ve been reading PaleGirlRambling for a while you’ll know I’m a huge fan of B.B. and CC creams during the summer months rather than opting for my usual full coverage Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation. There are some days though where I like a little extra coverage without going to full coverage so the NYX Total Control Drop Foundation is the perfect solution. I have a full review of the Total Control Drop Foundation, it really enhances my natural complexion and the coverage can be built up without feeling heavy on your skin. I like to use around half a dropper full just to even out my complexion and minimise any redness.
Charlotte Tilbury Brightening Youth Glow
Charlotte’s Brightening Youth Glow has been my favourite primer this summer. It’s hydrating, blurs pores and minimises redness. It’s perfect for ‘no makeup’ makeup days as it gives your skin a beautiful glow and smooth lightweight base to apply makeup on top.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow
I think the Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette features in every single makeup post I do but it is honestly the best palette I’ve ever invested in. The bronzer is perfect no matter the sort of look you’re going for, it can be worn nice and lightly or packed on to give a beautiful bronzed look. I also like to blend a little bronzer into my crease, it takes seconds and really finishes off any makeup look without having to use a tonne of different eyeshadows. The highlight shade gives a beautiful soft focus glow without being too OTT for everyday.
Nars Soft Matte Concealer
You may have seen on social media that Cult Beauty have finally started stocking Nars! I couldn’t have been more excited when I saw the announcement. The Soft Matte concealer was something I put off getting for the longest time as I loved the Radiant Creamy concealer so much. I’m so glad I gave in and got it though as it’s perfect for a quick spot conceal on no makeup days. The matte finish means it stays put all day and it’s super easy to apply with your finger tip.

I need to try the Nars Concealer, I’ve heard so much good stuff about it! xx
