Is it just me or has this year gone insanely fast? I cannot believe it’s October Favourites time already!
My skin has taken a real hit this month with the dry weather and my sporadic skincare due to having a lot on at work and moving house so I’ve a few skincare saviours to mention. Alongside some makeup picks that have helped me look presentable even if I’m exhausted on the inside!
Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist*
I have been wanting to try the Queen of Hungary Mist for the longest time! I absolutely love facial sprays (would anyone like a post on my favourites?!) and this mist from Omorovicza is supposed to be the Queen of them (pardon the pun) Omorovicza products are pricey but boy are they worth it! I’m yet to try a product from Omorovicza that I’m disappointed by. This mist is so light and refreshing, it’s the perfect hydrating boost for this time of year. It’s also supposed to help prevent wrinkles so that’s a big plus too!
Laura Geller Spackle Hydrating Primer*
You may have seen me mention this primer in my post on the Feel Unique Best of Box. I’m so glad they introduced me to this baby and just in time for winter! My skin has been so dry due to the colder weather (my eczema is going crazy!) so this primer is a life saver. It hydrates your skin throughout the day and stops foundation sinking into your pores too so it’s a win win! It almost feels like a moisturiser which I love.
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette*
This gorgeous palette has been my go to the past few weeks. I got this from Cherry Berry Cosmetics, you can get one too for only £29 if you use the code PALEGIRL20 at the checkout. The Naked 2 has a perfect mix of matte and shimmer shades. Some perfect for day time and the silvery shades at the right hand side for night time. I honestly can’t believe I waited so long to add this palette to my collection, I couldn’t be without it now!
Temple Spa Stroke of Genius Mascara*
Now this is my new favourite mascara. Temple Spa call it the ‘little black dress for your lashes’ and it really is! This mascara has ‘a conditioning formula that separates, curls, defines and lifts each lash for full and voluptuous lashes’ I’ve only been using this for a few weeks now so I can’t say if it conditions my lashes just yet but it makes them so beautifully long without making them clumpy (my pet hate). I feel so much happier knowing I’m using a mascara that’s benefiting my lashes. Temple Spa products are of course cruelty free too!
Urban Veda Soothing Facial Oil*
If you read my post on Monday on the Urban Veda facial oils I’ve been trying out you’ll know I’m completely hooked so it wouldn’t be fair not to mention them in my favourites this month. The soothing oil in particular is a firm favourite and has been a life saver alongside my Laura Geller Spackle Primer. I just can’t get over how hydrating it is while still being so lightweight!
I hope you enjoyed my October Favourites, I really love looking back on the products I’ve loved each month. What have you been loving this month? Have you been putting a focus on skincare to try and beat the colder weather?
I totally agree, where the heck did October go! I have yet to try anything from the Omorovicza range yet, but keep reading so many good things about the range. I will investigate it further I think. That mascara looks amazing too, I cannot get enough of new mascaras, always hoping to find my permanent go to. Thanks for sharing xx
That Naked palette looks absolutely stunning! I’ve never used a Naked palette before (I don’t feel good enough at make up to be worthy to have one hahaha!) As always, lovely post and gorgeous photos <3 xxx
A post on your favourite facial mists sounds great! I own the Naked 2 palette and hadn’t used it for ages, so I started using it again and I remember why I loved it so much. The shade ‘half-baked’ is my all time faave! That Temple Spa mascara sounds amazing as well – definitely beneficial that it conditions your lashes as well and it’s great that the brand is cruelty-free 🙂 xo

I’ve literally just used up the last of my expensive, thick moisturiser and I don’t have the money to replace it so my skin is currently screaming at me! I do love the Naked 2 palette as it’s got such a lovely selection of shades although I think number 3 would have to be my favourite as I’m a sucker for pinks! I’ve really gotta try out one of those Urban Veda facial oils too, they sound so gorge!

I love Urban Decay products and have been in love with Naked Heat since the beginning of October, it’s just my favourite palette to go for now. You’ve got a nice collection of products! I have never heard on any of these brands before, thank you for introducing me to them!

Hi great choices my favourite of the three would have to be the Nakd palette I just think the colours are so versatile. It’s on my Christmas wish list.
Love it! Very well written.

I can’t believe how fast this year is going either. How is it almost over?
I’d love a post on facial sprays.

I’m such a Spackle fan! It doesn’t feel drying at all, my dry skin loves it in the winter. Really want to get a hold of the Naked 2, currently only have the Naked 3 but am getting slightly bored with the pink shades and want something a little more versatile. x

I could really do with that soothing face oil right now! Winter hates my face 😂
I can swear by Omorovicza and would love to try Laura Geller Spackle Hydrating Primer. BTW, I love your photography! Stunning! http://www.hellobeautybae.com
You have such a lovely range of products from October to talk about. I really want to try the face mist, I’ve heard good things about it.
I love the Naked palette too. An old favourite.

I love the Naked 2, I feel like it never gets the dame love the others get but ‘Tease’ is one of my all time favourite matte shadows.
Always a treat to stop by your blog (one of my favourites) but extra-special when there’s a bit of Temple Spa action! Thank you ❤️
That primer sounds amazing – need! x

Love the look of the soothing facial oil. My skin’s not suffered yet, but my lips have literally dried up over night! Lots of Dr.PawPaw balm and lip exfoliator going on at the moment! x
I haven’t tried any of these products before, but they look great! I always love your pictures 🙂
I heard so many good things about that primer, as my skin is getting dry I need something to protect my skin from makeup. I’ll look it up. Lovely favorites. xx
Never tried any of such products but primer and mist sounds promising and you always took superb photos😍😍
This Naked palette is beautiful!!! I bought it for my little sis :))
Have a lovely weekend xx

Awesome! Love this so much! Quite helpful 👍🏼☺️
I have moved into my Winter Skincare regiment, and it’s making a huge difference! Because I live in such a dry climate, getting started early helps a lot. I use several moisturizing steps, and try to stay make up free at least 3 days a week 🙂
I always look at the naked palette but I’ve never invested in one. Maybe Santa will be kind 😛

The Naked 2 palette looks so pretty, but I’ve promised myself that I wouldn’t buy any more eyeshadows for a while.
A Sparkle Of Grace
I love Urban Decay eyeshadows. I already have the Naked palette, the smokey eye, and the matte basics (kind of obsessed) but I love the colors in Naked 2!

Lovely products and nicely shot. I’m always after a ‘new and improved’ mascara so will definitely investigate this one!
I’ve been loving that Laura Geller primer too, it’s so good for the colder months! xx

I swear by that naked palette at times, i absouletly adore it. I must say I love your photos they are amazing!💕
Omorovicza is such a lovely brand, I’ve seen the mist around but haven’t gotten around to trying it. I love the thermal cleansing balm and mask – they always leave my skin feeling so lovely and clean.
Great post! That palette looks so good, I don’t typically wear eyeshadow but I’m trying to get into the habit if I’m going anywhere special so I’ll need to try something like this.

Ah I absolutely love Naked2! It’s my favourite urban decay palette and I’ve used some of the shades so much I’ve hit pan. Might have to treat myself to a new one! X
I need to get my hands on the naked 2! x
I swear, October was just a blur! I’m a huge Omorovicza fan too, every product of theirs that I’ve tried has been fantastic. They’re really underrated in my opinion! x
