June Favourites 2017

I have tried so many new products this month! If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen I’ve had a massive clear out of all my makeup and skincare. I have so many products and half of it I barely use so I thought it was about time they got better homes! Here’s a few of my favourite products this month.

Nuxe Rêve de Miel

Okay so this is pretty big for me. If you’ve been reading for a while you’ll know I swear by Burts Bee’s lip balms. Nothing I’ve used has been as good. Recently though, I tried out the hyped Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm thanks to an incredible giveaway Millie from Modish Ramblings ran and I LOVE IT! It contains honey, shea butter, rosehip, sunflower and sweet almond oil. It has a very thick consistency, it reminds me of more of a lip treatment than a balm. It’s so intensive though and makes your lips baby soft. It really is worth all the hype I’ve seen it get. My pot lives on my bedside table and I put it on every morning and night (I still have a Burts Bees in my pocket during the day!)

Temple Spa Be Still moisturiser*

I couldn’t not mention this! I have a whole post on some Temple Spa products I tried out but this moisturiser is definitely my all time favourite. I have never found a daily  moisturiser that worked for my skin. Moisturisers have either made my skin greasy and given me spots or not moisturised my dry patches. The Be Still moisturiser is incredible, especially created for sensitive skin it soothes as well as giving your skin much needed hydration without going over the top and making it greasy. I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of this product, it is worth every penny and I definitely couldn’t be without it anymore!

Too Faced Melted Chocolate liquified lipstick

I cannot get over how much this smells like chocolate! You may know I am now unfortunately dairy free due to some health issues and I REALLY miss chocolate! This is the first Too Faced products I’ve tried, I’ve always been skeptical of how much the chocolate collection actually smells like chocolate and the sweet peach collection like peach but it genuinely does! I have the shade chocolate honey, it’s a nudey colour, with a rather sheer consistency and a little bit shiny. This isn’t the most pigmented lip product but it’s such a great everyday colour, I’ve been wearing it to school most days.

Clarins Skin Illusion blush

Clarins skin illusion is the prettiest summer blush with a sheer, glowy finish. The packaging is adorable and the little compact is perfect for popping in your handbag as it has a little mirror and powder puff attached. I love the shade, it’s perfect for pale skin. This has become my go to recently as it’s so quick and easy to apply, I love the subtle healthy glow it gives my cheeks. I have this in the shade Luminous Coral, I really want to try the other two shades in the collection.

Loccitane Foot Cream

This is a rather luxurious product that I treated myself to in preparation for the summer months. Ive been using this cream along with the Freyaluna foot scrub from my Skin Organics Beauty Box to get my feet ready for sandal weather! The cream contains nourishing shea butter, antiseptic lavender essential oil and anti-inflammatory arnica extract to help reduce redness and irritation. Honestly this is so incredible to massage into your feet after a long day. It keeps your feet baby soft.
