I’m sure you all know my skin type by now, but for those of you who don’t, I have insanely dry and sensitive skin that breaks out and reacts to almost any product, so finding a skincare routine is a challenge but so important for me! As much as I love trying out new skincare products, I have a routine I like to stick to if my skin is really playing up!
My morning skincare routine is relatively quick and easy as I’m not a morning person and like to get as much beauty sleep as possible!
I rinse my face using my Jane Iredale magic mitt. This mitt cleanses your face using only warm water. I’ve read a lot of skeptical reviews of these mitts but honestly for me, I think it works! I then cleanse using the Bee Good Honey & Propolis cleanser. I have an in depth review of this in a separate post if you’d like to know more! It is gentle creamy cleanser, perfect for the morning. I then apply serum, either my Bioderma Hydrabio serum or my Neal’s Yard Remedies Beauty Elixir depending on how dry my skin is that day, a moisturiser (I’m yet to find the perfect everyday moisturiser so I mix it up depending how I’m feeling) and finally SPF. My go to is currently the mattifying garnier suncream for sensitive skin, if you’ve read my blog post you’ll know just how obsessed with it I am! This super quick morning routine honestly takes no more than 10 minutes!
During the day I like to have a Burt’s Bees lip balm in my bag along with my Mac Fix+ spray to hydrate and refresh my skin throughout the day!
In the evening I like to take more time on my skincare. I start off with the Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water, I use this water to remove my eye makeup and to go over my face when I’ve got makeup on to take the first layer off. I then go in with my Neal’s Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Balm. I got this back in February as part of a set. I have a review on the Wild Rose Collection if you’d like to read more. This balm has become one of my skincare must haves! I use this to remove my makeup and also as an intensive moisturiser so it features in my skincare routine twice. After the Beauty Balm, I use the Bee Good Honey & Propolis cleanser from my morning routine to take off any of the excess oils left from the balm. I feel this double cleansing method really makes such a difference to your skin. My next step is to use the Neal’s Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Elixir. This is my current serum of choice for the evening. I will admit it’s pricey but I think it’s totally worth it, it’s so light but super hydrating and smoothing!
This is the point where i change my evening routine depending on how much time I have and how my skin is feeling. If I have lots of time and my skin is very dry, I like to exfoliate using the Bioderma Gentle Exfoliating Cream and apply some sort of mask before continuing on with my routine. My go to mask is normally the Bioderma Hydrabio mask. I recently received the REN Ultra Calming Recovery Mask from their EverCalm range and it’s becoming a firm favourite too! (There will be a review on this mask coming soon so keep an eye out!)
If I don’t have lots of time in the evening I skip the mask step and use my Caudalíe Premier Cru eye cream and then my Bioderma Hydrabio Creme. It’s a rich, intensive cream which is perfect for night time.
I think skincare is so important! If my skin isn’t feeling beautiful, no matter how much expensive makeup I apply it’s never going to look good!
I hope you enjoyed this skincare routine. Do any of these products feature in your routine?

I’ve recently started drying out some Bioderma products including the miscellar water and so far I’m impressed! I also always carry a Burt’s Bees lip balm with me, at the moment I’m loving the grapefruit flavour! xxx
The Micellar water is excellent! It’s the only product I can use near my eyes that doesn’t upset them!

Acne is a really pain! I seem to have the constant struggle to find products that hydrate my skin but don’t cause more spots!

My skin goes craaaazy when the seasons change! I’ve really tried to be serious about constant SPF but I’ve never heard of a mattifying sunscreen! Sounds amazing, thanks for cluing me in!
It’s the best suncream! Literally feels like you’ve nothing on your skin! I’ve a full blog post about it! It’s so affordable though that it’s worth buying and checking out for yourself!

Hi, it sounds interesting to see what you use. I use Dermaliogica ultra calming range for my dry sensitive skin. Sun cream wise Tesco’s sensitive is great value , Chloe #TeacupClub
Ohhh I really want to try something’s from Dermalogica!

It’s worth the extra money.
Loved this, because I have dry and sensitive skin! My exact problem. I don’t invest in skincare products as much as I probably should. I use an exfoliant scrub every other day, and then apply a mask twice a week (try to, don’t always lol). I also suffer from dry hands! In the winter time especially. I have a skin lotion creme designed for dry skin that works very well for that!
I have never used any of these products, however I have pretty oily skin, so suppose most of the products are just not for me. But it was interesting to get to know what companies are on the market and what products do they have, I would totally check some of them and try to search for products for my skin 🙂

I absolutely love the burt’s bees lip balms! I feel like lipcare is something people can forget about, but their lip balms saved me in winter! I also love the look of the Bee Good cream cleanser, I love cream cleanser’s but find it difficult to find good ones so I may have to test it out 😊 x
Their lipbalms really are the best! I want to try one of their new lipsticks!
BeeGood’s products are great! They do mini travel size ones to try out too!

Love seeing other people’s skincare routine! I’ve only recently started taking my skincare seriously so I’m in desperate need of new products to try till I find my perfect match. I usually just use simple products and it keeps the dryness away for now! xo
The Bee Good cleanser is amazing for dry skin! Great to find a cream cleanser that doesn’t strip the skin 💜 I’ll have to check out the other products as my skin is in desperate need of hydration!!
I used to have incredibly dry skin too, but over the years it became more mixed. So now I’m battling extremely dry skin on my cheeks, while my forehead gets a little bit oily. You seem to put so much care into your skincare, maybe I’ll up my game and be kinder to my own skin after reading this. I got some products from Exuviance recently and they are very good, so hopefully my cheeks will recuperate soon ☺

My skin is exactly the same so I hope to give some of these a go, thanks for recommending them! I have also found Aveeno to have made an incredible difference if you haven’t given that a try x
Lovely post! I’ve been really wanting to try some bioderma products for a while now!
I LOVE Bee Good, they’re my go-to for my face scrub, it’s so lovely! I have such a thorough skincare routine it’s ridiculous! x
I always change up my routine when spring comes along! I’ve been using lots of moisture rich creams and deep cleansers. I use burts bees lip balm as well, feels amazing.

I’m so in love with your photos!
This is such a great post! I can’t wait to give it a try! I just was wondering if you have any tips or can help with my problem. I seem to have reactions to a lot of skin products and I believe it could be because of alcohol content, my face goes really red and blotchy and hot, but other than that it may be a little itchy. This only lasting up to 10-30 minutes. Please if you have any tips it would be helpful! Thank you!
Aww so glad you liked the post! Really sorry to hear your skin is so sensitive, it can be a real pain! I’d firstly try using natural products as they tend not to contain alcohol (but obviously check to ingredients!) I’d also say keep products to a minimum. You really only need a cleanser and a moisturiser. I’d certainly advise the Neal’s Yard Wild Rose beauty Balm as it is very soothing and my skin doesn’t react at all. And moisturiser wise, I’ve found the neutrogena oil free moisturiserto be great, not extremely hydrating but it doesn’t irritate skin, I hope this helps! Please reply if you’d like more advise or send me a message!

Thank you so much! I am going to give these a try as soon as I can! Ill be sure to get back to you, this is honestly such helpful advice i appreciate it so much!
I HIGHLY recommend Luminance Skincare! They are the cleanest products out there, perfect for sensitive skin. On top if that, they have a free trial kit, you just have to pay shipping. This stuff changed my skin for the better!
it is really amazing to came across a wanderful post like dis one i ”love” it.
Been meaning to try Neil’s yard products for ages – will deff give the balm ago on my dry face.ive brought burts bees hydrating face mask recently which so far is so good! Xx
I am a fan of Bioderma Sensibio Good read!!
! I love the applicator of this spray, it disperses the mist widely meaning one spritz could cover the whole face so this bottle is going to last a while!
! I have a post on my in depth skincare routine if you’d like to know what products I use before bed but I like to make sure I’ve […]
I’ve been put on a course of antibiotics and topical treatments for acne, which is drying my skin out and irritating it at times. After years of oily skin, I’m now suffering with dry skin and I’m not really sure what to do about it! I’m cautious about using anything too heavy and rich, but at the same time I don’t think my current routine is giving enough moisture/hydration. I might have to try some of these products, the Bioderma Hydrabio mask and serum sound good x
